Health department recruits 101 staff nurses from waiting list

Chandigarh::   Punjab Health department has decided to fill 101 vacant posts of staff nurses from the waiting list, names of candidates selected in different categories has been put on the website. Disclosing this Minister for Health & Family Welfare Mr. Madan Mohan Mittal said that department earlier completed the process of recruiting 595 staff nurses in the health department out of which some selected candidates didn’t join the duty.

He said that they were given 8th August for joining the duty and advertisement in newspapers was also given by the department and information was also put on the official website of the department to inform the candidates who didn’t join the duty. But still 101 posts were left vacant and keeping in view to provide quality healthcare facilities in the government hospitals department decided to fill
vacant posts from the waiting list. Health Department has asked the selected candidates from the waiting list to get their medical test done from concerned Civil Surgeons and report for induction course on  23 August, 2013 at training centre, Mohali. Appointment letters to the newly selected candidates would be handed soon.
