Badal to face people wrath against political terrorism: Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa

Gurdaspur, May 12 (CI Bureau)- Mr.Fateh jung Singh Bajwa General Secretary PPCC today warned Punjab Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal against spreading ‘political terrorism’ and said it SAD-BJP government will face people’s wrath. While addressing series of rallies in support of Congress candidates in Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections in this district, Mr.Bajwa said that Mr.Badal had thrown to wind all democratic and moral values and creating an atmosphere of terror. He said that by not allowing people of state to participate in Panchayar election with free will, Mr.Badal has been setting up wrong precedents. Mr. Bajwa said that PPCC President Mr.Parap Singh Bajwa had waged a war against lawlessness and corruption in Punjab and he was getting an overwhelming response. PPCC President would take the fight to logical end, he added.
Mr.Bajwa said that Mr.Badal and Mr.Sukhbir Singh Badal were grossly mistaken that by misusing police and government machinery they would eliminate the opposition leaders. He said that Akalis were desperate to hold on power. He stated that Jathedars were running the police stations and police was busy protecting criminals. He condemned Ferozepurt police for not registering case against Akali goons who fired at on Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, MLA from Guru Har Sahai. Mr.Bajwa hailed the Congress workers who were fighting against the highhandedness of SAD-BJP government despite being threatened by police. He said that police was forcing many Congress candidates to withdraw in favour of SAD nominees. He said that Congress would never give up and would continue its protest by democratic means.
Mr. Bajwa addressed rallies in villages Ghuman, Bham, Bahini Bangar, Shahpur, Mari Pannuan, Behaj, Kishankot and Harchowal in Quadian assembly constituency. Many Akali families joined SAD during the rallies. Others who addressed the rallies included Balwinder Singh Ladi, Surjit Singh Tugalwar member SGPC, Bhupinder Pal Singh Witty, Sardul Singh Cheema, Balwinder Singh Nabha and Pappu Mari.
