Vidya Balan might be the epitome of grace and charisma, someone which Bollywood looks upon with respect, for the niche that she has carved for herself in the industry. But she will always be a Malayali girl speaking cute Tamil, winning hearts all over with her candid nature. Recently when she was here in Chennai for JWF’s Women’s summit, Vidya Balan, shared a cute little story about her craze for Kamal Haasan.

“I was a huge fan of Kamal Haasan,” claimed Vidya Balan. “He was staying close to my relative’s house, and I pestered them to take me there. Being a kid back then, I thought it was easy to just walk up to his house and meet him! Of course, he wasn’t at home when we went…but they gave me a photograph signed by him and I was so thrilled to get just that”, said the Bobby Jasoos star.

Vidya Balan also spoke about her wish to star in a Tamil film, after being ousted from a Tamil flick many years ago before her big break in Bollywood with Parineeta. Now that Vidya Balan is a star of great stature, wouldn’t it be great if Vidya starred along with her teenage icon Kamal Haasan for a Tamil film? Lets keep our fingers crossed.
