Film poster have always had a very crucial role to play in a film’s introduction. It gives you the first impression of the film and can either up your curiosity instantly or turn you off the movie altogether. So here’s taking a look at some of 2014′s most attention grabbing posters that really intrigued us about the movies…

PK‘s poster where Aamir Khan so graciously let go of his clothes, became the talk of the town. The mystery behind is curious expression and the transistor he held had every one going crazy wonder what his character would be like. It sure is a bold move any A-Lister has ever attempted. Full points to the actor for sheer gut!

The real impact of the poster lay in its old school feel. The idea of using brush stroked images rather than photos worked in favour of the film. What make them even more appealing are Salman’s intense expressions. The poster sure is a treat for all  Salman Khan fans.

The beauty of the poster roots from how simply and aptly it summarizes the central idea of the film. The map, the north-south positioning of the Arjun and Alia and their attempt to hold hands; it just says it all. Kudos to its simplicity!

We are hoping the double meaning of the image on the poster is not lost on anyone. The makers released a series of posters on similar lines, but this one was quirky, simple, vulgar all at once.

Since it was a well known that Haider is the third installment of Vishal Bharadwaj’s Shakespearan trilogy, there wasn’t any mystery surronding the Shahid Kapoor starrer. But the first look of the film where Shahid holds a skull in his hand revealed the dark and chilling world of Haider.
