The most awaited film ‘PK’ released on the 19th of December and has already collected a total box-office collection of 92.50 crores. A complain raised for disrespecting Hindu sentiments in the film by Prashant Patel who is the secretary of Hindu Legal Cell-Delhi. He recently wrote a letter to the Station Head Officer of Thana Amar Colony, New Delhi.
The letter he wrote was as follows:
Sub: Complaint against director, producer and actor of the film ‘PK’ for disrespecting Lord Shiv and hurting the Hindu Sentiments.
Respected Sir,
The recent released film ‘PK’ on 19 December shows Hindu God Shiv in a bad character. In this film many comments are made on rituals of Hindu Dharm, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Siddhart Roy Kapur. Actor Aamir Khan is in main role.
The dialogue of the film is like ‘Jo darta hai vo mandir jata hai’. Lord Shiv is shown chased by Aamir Khan and in bad character. It hurts believers of Hinduism very much.
The intention of this film is to show disrespect about Hindu gods, temples and which may cause religious disharmony. Therefore, I request you to please charge him with provoking communal disharmony and creating an atmosphere which is harmful for peace of society.
Therefore I request you to kindly initiate Legal action against Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani under Section 152A, 295A of Indian Penal Code, to prevent any communal disturbances in the country.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully, Prashant Patel Secretary Hindu Legal Cell-Delhi.
