The film ‘PK’ did very well with a super start at multiplexes in cities like Bangalore, Pune, NCR and Mumbai. There was 98% occupancy in Cinepolis Patna in the morning shows and same was the occupancy in premium multiplexes in smaller towns as well.
The single screens opened and closed to 50% which was pretty fair for such a film. The film collected 1.40cr net in Rajasthan, which was not bad and same was the case in Delhi/NCR which was quite strong despite the film didn’t get good numbers in Mumbai and Gujarat. The film did collect an approximate total of 33cr net on its first day.
