It was earlier reported that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen on screen romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Karan Johar’s next directorial venture. Conclusively, the news has been confirmed by none other than the director himself. 

Karan Johar had recently visited New York City where he started working on his script which he had developed almost a year and a half ago. The film that he is working on is called as ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which will be totally revolving around the realms of love. He slowly figured out the casting of the film after working with Ranbir and Anushka in the upcoming film ‘Bombay Velvet’. That is when he realized that their pairing and chemistry is simply an adhesive which will keep the audience bonded. 

For this particular story, Karan also got an opportunity to work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which was his dream. The film is deeply about relationships, heartbreaks, and how love defines us, etc. 

Karan said that the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ will be shot in New York, London, Paris and Delhi.

His other venture ‘Bombay Velvet’ is a film based on musical romance and the music will be composed by Pritam. The film is scheduled to be releasing on the 3rd of June, 2016.
