The last week and in fact the whole month of November was disastrous as far as the box office collections were concerned. On the last friend, on the 28th of November, Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Ungli’ was released.
The film was released on 1700 screens and the film’s opening was simply weak. The reason could be many, however, the most important that is considered here is poor promotional activities. The numbers of the day of release was very low and the numbers kept on decreasing. The film could only collect 3.60cr net on day one. Additionally, even in the weekends, the film could only collect a total of 12.65cr net and with its demeaning progress; it appears that the film would be able to only collect less than 23cr net lifetime
