There were two major reasons behind the long delay for the film, one of which was the script and the other one was the title of the film.
Rajkumar Hirani who is the director of the film had already written the film, however someone told him that the script was quite similar to an already existing Hollywood movie.
After comprehending the fact, Hirani reworked on the script, toned it and changed the entire view point and the angle of the film. On the other hand, the film was earlier titled as ‘Ek Tha Talli’ which quite resembled to Salman Khan starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which had just released then. Then later, it was renamed as ‘Peekay’, however of everything then they clung onto ‘PK’ and finalized it.
The film casts actors like Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie is scheduled to be releasing on the 19th of December, 2014.
