Milan Luthria was all set to cast Arjun Kapoor in his next film, which was about a crazy fan who craved to meet his idol.

Later, he found out that the script was quite similar to the film SRK starrer ‘Fan’ which is already on floors. Therefore, Milan was left with no option but to abandon his film. 

Milan Luthria confirming the news said that they had been working on the script since almost two months and there were also supposed to fly off to Mauritius on February 2015 to start the shoot for the film. He realized that their script was similar to that of an already upcoming film, when someone from his office told him about the SRK starrer film ‘Fan’.

Milan also said that luckily he has another script which is under fast development process. There are also several speculations that he will be directing a film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, however, he did not confirm any news as such and just said that he wants to finish writing his script in peace and that he will announce the necessary details soon.
