Superstar Salman Khan is very well-known for his wit, his generosity and his humbleness; and he very well proves it taking up the ‘Swachh Bharat’ initiative.

The actor recently tweeted thanking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote, “I once again thank @narendramodi for taking up the Swachh Bharat initiative and nominating me.” 

Salman Khan started off with the ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign in Karjat yesterday. He posted a few pictures of himself along with the others who supported him for such a noble cause. He was also seen cleaning the dirty roads with a broom and painting the brick walls of those uncolored houses. He further tweeted, “I nominate the following for ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign and request them to further nominate 9 more people. First, I nominate my fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Each one of us can make a difference. And I nominate Aamir Khan, Azim Premji, Chanda Kochhar, Omar Abdullah, Pradeep Dhoot, Rajat Sharma, Rajnikanth and Vineet Jain.”
