Balasore (Odisha):
India Friday test-fired nuclear-capable cruise missile 'Nirbhay' from the Integrated Missile Test Range in Odisha's Chandipur.
Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the state-of-the-art missile can strike targets more than 700 km away.
This is the second development trial of the missile which has a high degree of precision in terms of impact. The first trial of on March, 2013 had to be terminated as the missile deviated from its course .
