Someone Had Actually Walked Out Of My First Film: Riteish

October 14, 2014 10:01 PM

Riteish Deshmukh talked about replacing Kapil Sharma for the role that he will be playing in ‘Bank Chor’.

Initially Kapil was offered the role, but somehow the deal did not work out with the makers. Riteish said, “Kapil is a great human being and he has a great comic timing; and I am sure that he will be a great actor too. I wish him all the best.”

He further said, “There has been a couple of films that were first offered to me and I said no, and it went to someone else. I think we take it too seriously that someone refused it and then it went to me, but it doesn’t really matter to me as long as it works. Someone had actually walked out of my first film and only then did I get a chance, so I can’t really complain.”

Riteish disclosed a little in depth about the film and the role that he will be enacting. He said, “It’s a bank robbery and not a con film. It’s about three guys who come to a bank from different walks of life and everyone is doing it for different reasons. I had taken a loan from the bank and I wasn’t able to pay back. So I just plan on taking the money from them and giving it back. But it is the worst day for these idiots to rob because all the media and every cop is there.”
