Director Rakesh Gopan’s 100 Degree Celsius has four women in the lead and the first day’s show even offered free tickets for women viewers. If all that gives a feeling that this one deals with some strong statements on the fairer sex, well, no such luck here. This film is a royal mess, nothing less.

Nila (Swetha Menon), Nancy (Bhama), Ganga (Ananya) and Revathy Nambiar (Meghna Raj) share an apartment and more importantly, goes through tumultuous love lives.

Nila’s husband is a womanizer and sends her videos of him with other women. Nancy changed her religion to marry her lover, but her mother-in-law created a rift between her and her husband. Revathy has gone through some failed relationships and the last lover brutally assaulted her. And they all live in the hope that their husbands will change their ways and accept them.

Ganga is in love with a guy but the three friends are against the relationship. The story takes an abrupt turn when Revathy’s friend, Lovely (Haritha), comes to the apartment with her husband.

With an absurd script, this film struggles to keep you engaged right from the start. The story just goes here and there without any logic. All you are surprised about is the serious way all those inane scenes have been presented here.

Talk about the performances and there is a competition happening among all the actors to come up with the worst performance. The four women, who play the lead, look totally disinterested. Haritha and Sethu, of ‘Mynaa’ and ‘Thank You’ fame, flounders big time.

You watch with disbelief as 100 Degree Celsius goes from bad to worse. A sequel is announced as the film ends and all you feel is sorry for the producer. Then comes a song sung by the lead cast, with the whole crew and some escapades from the shooting sites.

If you are so particular, you watch that song. The rest of the film, may be watched only at your risk please!

Verdict: Avoidable
