Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Mardaani’ starring Rani Mukerji in the lead role started on an average not at the box-office, but the film showed an exceptional growth over the weekend.
On Friday the movie collected Rs. 3.46cr, on Saturday the collection was 4.73cr and on Sunday it showed a good jump and collected Rs. 6.20cr, taking the first weekend total to Rs. 14.39cr.
It seems like the positive word of mouth has worked in the favour of the film. ‘Mardaani’ has collected a good amount in its first weekend and it looks like the film will be stable in weekdays as well.
