Mardaani’ starring Rani Mukerji will be hitting the screens tomorrow. The film is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Rani’s hubby Aditya Chopra.

‘Mardaani’ tackles the issue of child trafficking and the purpose of making the film is to create awareness. Pradeep Sarkar, who has previously directed emotional dramas, has directed the raw and gritty flick ‘Mardaani’. Well, after watching the trailer we can expect a good direction from him. 

After getting married, Rani Mukerji is all set to hit the screens with a bang. The actress will be seen in a rough-tough cop named Shivani Shivaji Roy. Rani is in full-form and we are sure that her act will be impressive. Tahir Raj Bhasin, who plays the negative role in the film, seems to be promising. 

Well, YRF always promote their film very well, but this time their promotions have been mediocre. There are hardly any songs in the film and that might play a hurdle, as songs are surely a factor that attracts the audiences to the theatres. 

Movies like ‘Mardaani’ that tackles a social issue takes a slow start at the box-office, but it all depends on the word of mouth.
