On her birthday, Jacqueline tells us her Kick co-star is her biggest inspiration
It’s Jacqueline Fernandez’s birthday today. The actress is in Poland shooting forBangistaan. We spoke to her before she left for the shoot and chatted about the super success of Kick and her relationship with Salman. Here’s what she had to tell us:
When asked about her experience of working with Salman, Jacqueline said, “I have known Salman since the time I was signing my first movie, but we were always only acquaintances, and then we would see each other maybe at shows or events, but it was very rare. The last time I saw him before Kick was at Bigg Boss when I was promoting Race 2. On my first day of shoot for Kick I was pretty intimidated and was very nervous about working with him. I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t know he would be on shoots or how he was to work with, but we did that first shot and I realized we are going to have a lot of fun doing this film. We just got along really well and we shot the film over a period of some 10 months, I have come to understand what an amazing guy he is. Salman has now become my role model, because we have spent so much time together working on this movie that I know well. He is someone I look up to, I would love to emulate him in terms of his work ethics, his social responsibilities, his outlook towards life, he’s a really wise guy. I look up to him a lot.”
