The two actors have shared a good rapport with the director but it seems the director doesn’t want to work with them for his next project.
Anees Bazmee is a busy name these days. He has almost finished shooting for his December 19 release Welcome Back, which is the sequel to his 2007 hit filmWelcome. Post that we heard that he would get busy with Salman Khan’s No Entry Mein Entry but it seems Salman is only going to start his film once he is done withPrem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
So that gives Anees time enough to direct another film. The project which is yet untitled will be produced by Swiss Entertainment and Star Talaash. So now that Salman is busy will he go back to his all time favourite Akshay Kumar? Or will he once again approach John Abraham after Welcome Back? We wonder…
Grapevine has it that the ace director will be changing gears and will not work with established actors. He wants the movie to appeal to the youth and therefore, will be scouting for newcomers. “The subject and setting he has chosen for his next requires younger actors,” says the spokesperson from Swiss Entertainment while speaking to a leading daily. The film, a musical entertainer, will go on floors once Welcome Back comes out, and will release in 2015. The spokesperson adds, “After having worked closely with Anees on Welcome Back, we’re excited about him coming in as a director for this musical entertainer.”
