Rekha Bhardwaj is back with another desi item number

The makers of Desi Kattey have come up with the first song from the movie. Sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and Kailash Kher, the song is another item song in the long list of item numbers in Bollywood. The song features Claudia Ciesla, who rose to fame after she shook a leg alongside Akshay Kumar in Khiladi 786 song Balma.

What we like:

-The composition by Kailash Kher is good. However the shelf life of the song will solely depend on how the movie performs at the box office.

-Kailash Kher’s lyrics will create a buzz (at least for sometime).

What we don’t like:

-Rekha Bhardwaj’s singing is great but she has got typecast in such songs just like Mamta Sharma. We desperately hope the two break their mould and try and explore other genres as well.

-Claudia Ciesla looked good as the videshi item girl in Balma, but she hardly impresses in aghaghra choli. Also her dance steps are not something to look forward to.
