Way back in 1991, a young Akki danced to famous movie songs at a performance in Delhi. Since then he has found out time for stage shows even amidst his busy schedule. So much so that his upcoming stage performance will be his 500th stage show ever.

The stage show on August 9 at O2 areana in London UK, will be that special stage show for the Holiday star. “Akshay’s performance will take place on the inaugural day of an international kabaddi league that is set to kick off in London. Although he is caught up with the promotion of his next release, he has managed to make some time for this full-fledged performance,” says a source speaking to a leading daily. Grapevine also has that Akki will be mimicking some of the famous celebrities onstage.”This is also why he has personally been involved in planning the entire performance. Everyone knows that Akshay loves sports, and since kabaddi is not very popular in India anymore, he wants to do whatever he can to promote it. The league is a step to promote the Indian sport and bring it closer to the fans of the sport spread across the world” says the insider talking about Akshay.
