The actor-director duo have previously worked together in the superhit Jodhaa Akbar

Hrithik Roshan made headlines when today’s morning newspapers read that he would be charging Rs 50 crore for Ashutosh Gowariker’s MohenjoDaro. Right from the inception of the project there was a lot of confusion as to who would be cast as the lead in the film. From Aamir Khan to Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor to Ranveer Singh, all were considered for the role, but it finally went to HR. Now that he has got the role, has he suddenly started acting pricey? We wonder…

If we recall, the actor director duo have shared quite a great rapport since the time they worked together in Jodhaa Akbar. So why is HR was charging such an astronomical figure? Our khabroos inform us that, unlike his other films, Hrithik will not be taking a profit share in Mohenjo Daro. On the contrary he is happy to take a one time fee of Rs 50 crore and leave aside all the profit shares to the filmmaker and the film producers.
