Oak Point, Manitoba – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing $15,100 to the Oak Point Community Club for the 2014 edition of its annual music festival.
Funding is provided through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program, which provides Canadians with more opportunities to take part in activities that present local arts and culture and celebrate local history and heritage.
This was announced today by James Bezan, Member of Parliament (Selkirk–Interlake), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

- The 9th Oak Point Music Festival will take place from June 27 to 29, 2014, and is organized by the Oak Point Community Club.
- The annual event promises ‘’fun for all ages’’ and features a variety of concerts and dance performances on an outdoor stage located in the park.
