Around 61% of the fans feel that Alia Bhatt’s chemistry with Varun Dhawan is more rocking than her equation with alleged boyfriend Arjun Kapoor.

Only a mere 39% were of the opinion that Alia looks too cute with the Gunday actor onscreen.

After the roaring success of their film 2 States we would have believed that the audience dig the Punjabi boy-Madrasi girl couple more. but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the audience is looking forward more to Alia and Varun’s forthcoming whacky love story Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya more than anything else! By the looks of the trailer we can expect an invigorating love story with a comic twist. Funnily enough, 2 States also had a comic tinge the love story. Only time will tell whether the romance in Humpty Sharma will garner more appreciation than 2 States. Varun and Alia were earlier seen in Karan Johar’sStudent of The Year but the plot paired the Bhatt gal opposite the Ek Villain actor Sidharth Malhotra instead of the Main Tera Hero actor.

As far as our opinion goes, we think that the Highway actor looks different and fresh in both the airing. Her jodi with Arjun Kapoor has a wild exuberance to it while the Alia-Varun couple has a sweet teenage charm to it. Even the gossip of Mahesh Bhatt’s beti’s alleged link-up in real life with Boney Kapoor’s beta couldn’t influence the fans who voted for Alia-Varun over Alia-Arjun!
