The Band Baaja Baaraat actor turns 26 today

Born on May 1, 1988 , Anushka Sharma made a smashing debut in Bollywood withRab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shahrukh Khan. With her very first film, this leggy proved her mettle as an actor. In 2011, Anushka’s second film Band Baaja Baaraathit the theatres and it went on to become a blockbuster. Besides sweeping away awards for her performance in BBB, Ms Sharma also stayed in the news coz of her alleged love affair with her Band Baaja Baaraat co-star Ranveer Singh. Though neither of them confirmed being in a relationship, their sizzling chemistry gave away all the answers. However, Anushka and Ranveer's  romantic liaison didn’t last and the duo parted ways. But professionally this model-turned-actor achieved yet another feat. She became a Yash Chopra heroine and acted in Jab Tak Hai Jaanalongside SRK and Katrina Kaif. As for now, this babe has three big films under her kitty – Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet, Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K. and NH10. Apart from playing the lead in NH10, Anushka is even producing the film.

On personal front, the talented actor is said to be dating cricketer Virat Kohli . In fact, we hear Kohli will fly down to Rajasthan to spend quality time with his ladylove on her special day. Anushka is currently shooting there for her first production venture NH10. Well, in that case we are sure the Jab Tak Hai Jaan starlet will have a very happy wala birthday. Wink wink!
