The makers of Bodyguard 2 are planning to take the film to a high new level

Various reports about the sequel to Salman Khan’s blockbuster film, Bodyguard, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, have been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. But Salman’s choc-a-bloc schedule and producer Atul Agnihotri’s latest film, O Teri , put Bodyguard 2 on hold. However, now we hear that the sequel might go on floors next year. Yes, you read that right!

“Bodyguard 2 is actually too dangerous to talk about till it goes on floors. A lot of things including the script are in place, but it’s too early. Moreover, anything to do with Salmanbhai just goes viral. Even if I do start the film, it’ll be next year, so it doesn’t make sense to talk about it now, and make my product look stale,” Atul was quoted by a portal.

That’s not all. Atul also plans to take Bodyguard 2 to a high new level. “We know the audiences loved Salman as Lovely Singh, the bodyguard, so we have a lot of room to play with in the sequel as he can be a bodyguard under any circumstances. And now with the high-grade VFX quality, we’ll be more ambitious. Salman is a big star so we want to outdo Bodyguard and take the sequel a notch higher in every way,” Agnihotri further said, without revealing any more details.
