After well-known actors like Shatrugan Sinha, Smriti Irani, Jaya Bachchan, and many more who truned their interest towards politics, it is Kirron Kher who is next nominated by BJP for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.

The actress recently reached Chandigarh to file the nomination papers and her actor husband, Anupam Kher is in full support of her. While Kirron recently made her debut in Twitter, Anupam has been posting tweets after tweets in support of his wife. Some of his recent tweets included, 

"If Sonia Gandhi is NOT an outsider in India how can @KirronKherBJP be an outsider in Chandigarh?:)" "So Good luck @KirronKherBJP. Show them what you are made of. Show them what loyalty, integrity, sincerity & hard work is all about.:)" "The daughter (Kirron Ji) has now returned to her Maika, her Home to serve her people since her husband & son can take care of themselves.:)"

The actress was greated with black flags after she landed in the city, but this does not break the couple's courage to fight more. "I laughed when I heard someone calling Kirron ji an 'Outsider' in Chandigarh. Aren't daughters supposed to marry & live with their husbands?" tweeted Anupam on the incident.
