Two trucks containing bicycles were caught with documentary proofs like Bills,Transportation documents at Government Senior Secondary School,Village-Dhadogal Kheri, Dist.Sangrur Today. These bicycles had pictures of the Punjab Chief minister Prakash Singh Badal on them and were being unloaded for distribution among the students under the "Mai bhago vidhya scheme". District administration officials were also present at the unloading site who were supervising the operations during election code of conduct.

Complete details with bills and supporting documents with photographs have been forwarded to the election commission.
Congress Sangrur MP Vijay Inder Singla has bought this electoral mal-practice for bribing the voters when the election code of conduct is in force to the notice of Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Sh.V. K. Singh. Singla urged the election commission to take strict action against these violations and ensure that no corrupt practice  including distribution of freebies like liquor, ration takes place.similar incidents were also reported to the district administration in last five days for bogus voters, distribution of Atta-Dal cards etc. But District administration at the instance of the state government has taken no action.

Singla also urged the Sangrur Lok-Sabha voters not to get lured by the false promises of akali-bjp goverment and vote with a conscience for a candidate who has the capability to deliver and has a clean track record with the development focus.
