Mani Ratnam is all set to direct a bilingual film. The already has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shruti Haasan as the two lead actresses and to play the third lead actress he approached to Sonakshi Sinha. But, the actress said ‘No’ to do the film.
It is learnt that, before approaching Sonakshi, Mani met her father Shatrughan Sinha and gave him a brief about her role. However, according to the sources Sona refused to do the film because of date issues.
The source said, "She loved the role and it was really tough for her to let go of the offer. But she had prior commitments and didn't have the required dates. But she will definitely work with Mani Sir in the future."

Earlier this month the actress had also refused to do the Subhash Ghai’s next film on Sarabjit Singh.
We think that Sonakshi should re-think on doing both the films, as it’s not easy to get offers from legendary filmmakers.
