Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today felicitated the newly appointed Chairman of Punjab Agro Food Grains Corporation Jathedar Dyal Singh Kolianwali on occasion of the assumption of charge, here at its office.

Addressing the supporters, friends and relatives of Jathedar Kolianwali, who were converged here on this memorable event, the Chief Minister said that Jathedar Kolianwali has been duly rewarded for his unflinching trust, loyalty and honesty besides rendering relentless services to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in varied capacities ranging from a humble worker, a committed leader and above all a trusted lieutenant of the party. Mr. Badal said that he was all the more happy for the reason that Jathedar Kolianwali 'never asked him or the Deputy Chief Minister for this office' rather he unequivocally said that Jathedar Kolianwali had been appointed Chairman of one of the coveted organizations of the state government in recognition of his stupendous efforts to boost the morale of rank and file of the Shiromani Akali Dal in the state especially in the Malwa region.
Lauding Jathedar Kolianwali for his sheer dedication to serve the people zealously, he expressed confidence that now the Jathedar Kolianwali would prove his credentials as an able administrator to help the farmers in smooth, prompt and hassle free procurement of food grains.
