Last Friday, saw the release of two films; ‘Karle Pyaar Karle’ and ‘Miss Lovely’. 

From the day we saw the trailer of ‘Karle Pyaar Karle’, we knew that it’s gonna be a big disaster at the box-office. The movie collected Rs. 23 lakhs on Friday, on Saturday the collection was Rs. 20 lakhs and Rs. 25 lakhs on Sunday, taking the first weekend total to Rs. 68 lakhs. It’s for sure a disaster.

The other film ‘Miss Lovely’, was just released in 300 screens and according to minimal release, the movie has done an below average business. The movie started on a slow note on Friday and collected Rs. 13 lakhs, on Saturday and Sunday the collection was Rs. 17 lakhs and Rs. 25 lakhs respectively. ‘Miss Lovely’ has ended up its first weekend with collecting Rs. 50 lakhs.

While, the last week releases ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ and ‘Yaariyan’ managed a better collection than this new releases. ‘DI’ collected Rs. 3.20cr in its second weekend, taking the till date total to Rs. 22.85cr and ‘Yaariyan’ collected Rs. 2.70cr, taking the till date total to Rs. 34.20cr.
