CHANDIGARH: The Election Commission of India has published the final list of voters after comprehensive revision as on January 1, 2014 for all assembly constituencies as per latest delimitation. Disclosing this here today, Mr. Raminder Singh, Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab said that all political parties and general public can see the final electoral rolls in the offices of concerned Electoral Registration Officers in all constituencies from January 6, 2014.

Giving the breakup of male and female voters, he said that after intensive revision,Punjabhas now 10112888 male voters and 9094364 female voters (total 19207252). He said that earlier figures were 9787456 male voters and 8805414 female voters (total 18592870). He said that it is pertinent to mention that for the first time 99.99 per cent voters photographs have been included in the voter list. Mr. Raminder Singh has also appealed all political parties and general public to cooperate with the officials making photo voter list so that left outs could be incorporated in the final list.
