Industrial visit organized by Aryans College of Engineering

Mohali: As a part of Industry – Institute interaction, Aryans College of Engineering,Chandigarhorganized an industrial visit in Cheema Boilers Ltd., Ban Majara, Kurali. Around 100 students from Mechanical department participated in the Industrial visit. Mr. R K Singh, HR Manager interacted with the students during the visit.

Mr Anand Rana, Quality Control Officer provided the students an insight in to the working of the company.  He also gave a presentation regarding the industry, its products, its clients etc. He explained many technical terms like standards, welding process, inspection process there and answered the queries of the students. The students were allowed to have a look into the various departments in the plant.

 

The students were divided into various groups. Each group was accompanied by an official from the company who explained each and every stage of the process involved like Rolling of Flat sheets, knowledge of Materials, working of boilers, special kind of welding like stud welding and machines used in production.

 

Mr B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that the visit was informative and helpful in providing real life exposure to students. Also it will be beneficial for the Mechanical Students to deeply understand their course subjects. He further said that Industrial visit proved to be learning and fruitful experience for both students and faculty members. 

 

It is to be mentioned that Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, nearChandigarhand has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is running Management College, Engineering College, Education College, Nursing College & JuniorScienceCollege(+1 & +2 Non Medical).
