EDUSAT to provide educative material for competitive exams

CHANDIGARH:The Punjab government has chalked out an impressive plan with a view to provide study material through EDUSAT to the students studying in class 12th (both medical and non-medical) to enable them to appear in various competitive exams in their respective streams. 

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Education Department said that EDUSAT is a high-tech system which provides the education through satellite. He further said that the rural students who were not able to pay hefty fee to the coaching centres were able to prepare themselves through this satellite learning and as many as 2411 students from the rural areas were selected in Engineering and Medical colleges through this e-learning programme. 


Giving details of the programmes launched he said that the programme would starts from December 17 to December 24, 2013. The schedule timing would be telecast on December 17, 2013 from 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm Ist session (Mathematics),  2.15 pm to 3.15 pm 2nd Session (Biology), on December 18,   Physics in Ist session & Mathematics in IInd session, December 19 Biology (Ist Session), Chemistry (2nd Session), on December 20 Physics (Ist Session),  Mathematics (IInd Session), December 23 physics (Ist Session), Mathematics (IInd Session) and December 24, Biology on 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm, Chemistry 2.15pm to 3.15pm.


He further said that on  December 21, 2013 the Edusat programme would be telecast for the physics  at 10.00 am to 11.20 am, Mathematics 11.20 am to 12.40 pm, Biology 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm and Chemistry at 2.15 pm to 3.15 pm. Study Material & further information would be available on the web site.
