Mohali: in adherence to the direction of Govt. & MHRD, students of Punjab could avail benefit from the virtual lab set up by IIT Delhi. IIT Delhi has selected CPTC Campus as a nodal centre for providing practical education to students through computers.

Sh. Anoop Bansal, Executive Director, CPTC Campus said that as per directions of MHRD,  IIT Delhi has planned to provided practical education to engineering students through computer. Renovation of existing labs will be done for the same.  Practical examination of students will be conducted through computer.

To provide best education in the field of engineering & other subjects, a virtual lab has been established at CPTC Campus.  He said that a day before a team of experts from IIT Delhi has visited the campus and after the visit they have selected this campus as a nodal centre, atPunjab.

He said the colleges lacking in infrastructure & facilities could also get the benefit of this virtual lab & no charges will born by them for the same. He said that further expansion of this lab will also be done in near future.
