In the spirit of the 75th year celebrations it was the perfect opportunity for the company to interact with the dealers at each branch, putting forth plans for the coming years while strengthening and building on existing relationships.
Speaking at the occasion Mr. PS Tandon, ED Consumer Business said – “Chandigarh has always been a high potential market for the company. And the branch certainly does have its share of achievements to be proud off. Registering sales of Rs. 105.22 Cr till November 2013 it has shown a steady growth of 23% and a CAGR of 29%. The branch has also successfully launched 8 Bajaj World outlets under its purview. Amongst infrastructure projects it has secured an order for Rs.4.17 Cr for Electrification of Jammu Udhampur Highway Project (NH-1A). Floodlighting at the cricket stadium atChandigarh was executed by the branch. In addition High Mast Flags have been installed at various sites across Punjab and J&K include: Taran Taran, Tapa Mandi, Barnala, Muksar, Leh and Chushul and High mast floodlighting is being installed at the Indo-Pak border at Amritsar and at the Ferozepur zone.
The branch at Chandigarh has also been at the forefront of new product launches from Water Heaters and TPW Fans under Morphy Richards to the futuristic iLED range under lighting and a new range of stylish ceiling fans. And imbibing the organizational culture of ensuring the welfare of the society at large, it has organized a Blood Donation Camp on the 75th anniversary of Bajaj Electricals Ltd. with the support of PGI, initiated tree plantations at theBlind School at Chandigarh and continues in its fight against tobacco as part of a national initiative.
