News has it that Kareena Kapoor Khan has most likely been approached by director Rohit Shetty for Singham 2.
The filmmaker has earlier worked with Kareena in hit films like 'Golmaal Returns' and 'Golmaal 3'. One hears that Rohit asked Kareena to be a part of the sequel even before Chennai Express hit the theaters. The actress was keen to do the film and had also consented in principle. However sources report that the director changed his mind later as he felt that the role was perhaps too small for an A-list actress, and it wouldn't justify Kareena's star status.
Now a source close to the project recently said,"But now, Kareena has a bigger role in the film. The final script has a lot for her and she could not refuse the offer. She has met Rohit again and consented." Rohit plans to start shooting for Singham 2 early next year.
