Chandigarh: A workshop for music teachers of government schools ofChandigarhwas organised by the Education Department U.T Chandigarh atGovernment Model Sr. Sec.School, Sector 10,Chandigarh. Its main aim was to edify the teachers about the latest advancements in the technology and the association of a teacher with it. The Chief Guest of the workshop was Pt. Yashpaul “Sagunpiya” Founder and former Chairman of department of Music, MCM DAV and P.U. Chandigarh.

The  Guest of Honour was Mrs. Pallavi, w/o worthy Finance Secretary. DPI Schools Mr. Kamlesh Kumar speaking on the occasion, emphasized on the need of the counselling of the children by the teachers towards music and different endeavor that the music can provide to them. He said the teachers should motivate and create interest in the children regarding Music in the early age so that they can have a wonderful future in this field.

Mr. Kashish Mittal SDM South was also present in the workshop. This initiative was highly applauded by the masses. The vote of thanks was presented by the principal of the school, Mrs. Indira Beniwal.
