Mohali: A two member Delegation from Aryans Group of Colleges,Chandigarhunder the leadership of Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group attended the “South Asia Conclave” at Royal Palm Country Club,Lahore,Pakistanon 28-29 November. The theme of the conclave was “The Power of Collaboration”. Earlier to that, a warm welcome was given by Pakistani students to Aryans atWagah Border,Pakistan.
Dr Anshu Kataria said that “Many Indians have wrong perception about safety & security inPakistan, but we were delighted with the Love, Care & Affection shown by Pakistani people.” Dr Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group said that it was like a home away from home and this trip has changed the Perception aboutPakistan. She further added that education would help build a stronger relationship & bridge the gap between two countries.

The Conference was addressed by many Renowned and Eminent Personalities of South Asia. From Pakistan Ms Hina Rabbani Khar (Former Foreign Minister), Mr Imraan Khan (Former Cricketer), Mr Muhammad Zubair (Chairman, Board of Investement) & Mr Syed Sarmad Ali (MD, Jung Media). Whereas from India the conference was addressed by Ms Preetha Reddy (MD, Apollo Hospital), Ms Rekha Sethi (Director General AIMA), Ms Nandita Das (An Award winning Actor/ Director), Ms Shobha De (Columnist and Novelist).
