Three day training on regulatory frame work concludes

Chandigarh: Punjab Governance Reforms department conducted a three Day Specialized e-Governance Training Programme (STeP) on ‘Regulatory Framework ’(S2- RF) here at hotel Shivalk view. This training was organized in coordination with National Institute of SMART Government (NISG),Hyderabad.
 

This programme was organized to equip the state officers with skills and knowledge on Regulatory Framework (S2-RF) for State level e-Governance initiatives and e- Governance projects being implemented in the state under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). The experts from NISG Hyderabad Mr. Vakul Sharma, Dr. S.N Ghosh and Mrs. Seema Sharma briefed participants about the importance of Regulatory Framework for Projects and laid focus on Regulatory Framework in various e-Governance projects.


During the 3 days program on Regulatory Framework, participants were also provided knowledge on overview of Legal & Regulatory Framework, IT Act, 2000 & Amendments of 2008, Digital Signature Regime, Cyber Crime Provisions in IT Act, Regulatory Framework for e- Governance under NeGP, Government Process Reengineering, Procurement in e-Governance, Service Level Management, Contract Management: Understanding contracts, Contract Management aspects of different types of projects. This 3 days event was concluded by Mr. Vakul Sharma from NISG distributed participation certificates to the participants.
