CM, Deputy CM and Majithia mourn demise of 9 people near Ramdas, Amritsar

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal expressed deep shock and anguish over the tragic demise of 9 people near Ramdas in Amritsar district due to plunging of jeep into a canal.


The deceased included three women, four children and two men and the accident took place when the jeep, in which they were traveling, plunged into a canal. They were hailed from village Akku Ke Maste of Ferozepur district. Meanwhile, Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue and Public Relations Minister also expressed grief over the demise of 9 people.

 

Expressing profound grief and sorrow over this disastrous accident, the Mr. Badal, Mr. Sukhbir Badal and Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia shared their heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant peace to the departed souls.
