Chandigarh-- Sh Surjit Kumar Jyani, Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab here today met the ANM's sitting on fast unto death outside the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Sector 34, Chandigarh and assured them that he himself would pursue their case for regularization with the Finance Department and thereafter with the Punjab Cabinet. These ANM's appointed under NRHM, 2211 head had been siiting on fast-unto-death outside Parivar Kalyan Bhawan to press for their demands. These ANM's broke their fast-unto-death on the assurance of health minister, who also offered them juice on the occasion.
