Moscow: Edward Snowden says the mass observation routines utilized by the United States are making individuals less safe.

In six movies discharged by Wikileaks on Friday, the previous National Security Agency investigator says NSA's mass reconnaissance of telephone and web activity "puts us at danger of clashing with our own legislature."

Snowden, who is charged by a U.S. court with abusing the Espionage Act for revealing the ordered NSA programs, has been conceded haven in Russia.

Wikileaks says Snowden spoke on Wednesday in Moscow as he acknowledged the Sam Adams Award, named for a CIA investigator throughout the Vietnam War who blamed the U.S. military of deliberately belittling the adversary's quality for political purposes, and given every twelve-months by a gathering of resigned U.S. national security officers.
