After visiting city library, newcomer goes missing

Calgary: Calgary police are hunting down a missing 24-year-old man not seen since Monday.

 

Aris Mustafa, of Arabic descent, was accounted for lost at 3 p.m. Monday after he neglected to return home from an English dialect lesson at the Calgary Public Library.

 

He was last seen heading north from the Mewata Armoury on eleventh Street southwest at in the vicinity of 9 p.m. that night.

 

Mustafa has a mental time of something like 15, and might experience the ill effects of epilepsy.

 

He doesn't talk English.

 

Det. Steve Adair said police staff had been carried into downtown from peripheral regions to help in the examination.

 

"He doesn't know his direction around, so cheerfully he hasn't meandered far and we find him dug in some place."

 

The family had as of late moved to Calgary, and Mustafa might have tried to come back to his old home in Brooks.
