streaking fireball in northern Alberta captured by RCMP camera

Edmonton: A watch Polaroid mounted inside a RCMP officer's vehicle found a fireball streaking over the night Prairie sky north of Manning.

 

Not long after 9:30 p.m. Saturday, a RCMP officer on watch on Highway 35 close to the village of Hawk Hills, 20 kilometres north of Manning, saw the splendid fireball intersection the sky into the separation ahead.

 

The officer's watch Polaroid was recording around then and caught the fireball as it streaked by at the skyline.

 

RCMP said a neighborhood cosmologist with the Telus World of Science in Edmonton affirmed the report of the locating.

 

RCMP discharged a motion picture cut of the locating on Wednesday.

 

Manning is 585 km northwest of Edmonton.
