2012 stabbing death: Charges framed

Calgary: Charges have been laid in a homicide that happened over one year prior.

Mario Gomez was wounded to expiration at the Sunset and Vine pub in northeast Calgary in March 2012.

24-year-old Michael Delday has since been charged in the case, and is planned to stage his first court presentation on Friday.

Gomez's family says they're joyful about the charges, however are as of now lamenting their misfortune.

"At last, I suppose there's equity for Mario, however for us its like opening the wound once more," says his mother, Maribel Granados. "It's hard."

Delday will go directly to trail, with no preliminary hearing.
