C train strikes and kills man

Calgary: Calgary Police are on scene after a man was struck and murdered by a Ctrain in the tunnel that runs under the CP Rail tracks close Stampede Park.

They say the episode happened in the 1600 square of Macleod Trail S.E.

Early reports demonstrate that the victimized person might have been strolling on the tracks when he was hit, however police are as of now attempting to affirm what he was doing there.

An individual has been apparently struck and murdered by a Ctrain at Victoria Park/stampede Station. Calgary Transit says shuttle transports are taking travelers past the scene and into the center.

Calgary Police are researching an expiration at the Victoria Park/stampede Station on Macleod Trail. Reports show that a Ctrain struck an individual strolling on the tracks in the tunnel.

Calgary Transit tweeted that somebody had been struck by a train in the tunnel close City Hall. They say that the LRT is working northbound to Erlton Station where travelers should exchange to shuttle transports.

The female driver of the Ctrain has been sent to doctor's facility as an insurance, however she was not harmed.

Southbound trains are working from Crowfoot to 8 Street.

The Calgary Fire Department and EMS are additionally on scene.
