Calgary: Briefly on Thursday, United Airlines was doling out plane tickets on the house, or near it.

Travelers reported purchasing tickets for $5 to $10 before United close down the bookings on its site and telephone centres to avoid more tickets from being sold or doled out.

The aerial shuttle said it coincidentally recorded a few charges for $0. Airstrip charges may have brought about a minor take seen by a few travelers.
