LUDHIANA---   Union Textile Minister Dr KS Rao today visited the Rishab Industries at Jodan near here. He was accompanied by the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister and local MP Manish Tewari and other senior officials of the ministry.Dr Rao visited various sections in the industrial unit. He said, he was impressed with the state of art technology being used there. He said, it was one of the best industrial units he had visited so far and was among the best in the country.

The Minister also listened to various issues and problems being faced by the textile industry particularly those related to the TUFF. He said, new TUFF policy was being notified soon. He told the minister and the visiting delegation that the Ludhiana industry had not only adopted the changes but also taken several initiatives at innovation.
