Tehran, Sep 11
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Tuesday that time for solving the nuclear issue of the Islamic republic was not "unlimited".
"The world should know that the time span for resolving the nuclear issue will not be unlimited and they (powers) should seize the time and we will," reported Xinhua citing Rouhani in a televised speech Tuesday night.
The end results of the upcoming talks between Iran and the world powers over Iran's nuclear issue should be based on a win- win approach and a win-lost formula is meaningless, he added.
The preparatory steps have been taken here for the talks, " since we are seeking serious negotiations with both the UN nuclear watchdog (IAEA) and the P5+1".
"Iran will seek to implement all its (nuclear) rights on the basis of international regulations and nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) directives and nobody can deprive Iran from its legal rights," Rouhani stressed.
The Islamic republic insists the West should recognise Iran's " civilian" nuclear rights, including its enrichment program, and reduce pressures. However, the US and its allies suspect that Iran's nuclear activities might aim at weaponry dimensions.
