At least five people were killed and several injured when some unidentified gunmen opened fire at a tribal court in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Monday.

The incident, which also left a few quite seriously wounded, occurred when some unidentified gunmen sprayed bullets at the local tribal court, held to settle dispute between two rival groups of the province's Bannu district, Xinhua reported.

Some media reports said the firing was carried out by members of the rival groups present in the tribal court.
